Switched to this for my drop shot rig on a gin-clear reservoir and immediately started getting more bites. Barely visible and handles well once you learn to manage the memory.
Fished it around rip rap and rock piles all summer and it held up better than the fluoro I used previously. Only issue is it can be a bit stiff straight off the spool.
Lost a couple fish early on because I was tying my usual knot wrong for fluoro. Once I switched to a proper improved clinch, no more issues. Sensitivity is noticeably better than mono.
Performs well but you go through it faster than mono if you're re-tying often. Worth it for finesse presentations but I don't spool my whole setup with it.
I use it mainly as leader on a braid mainline for pike and it's tough enough to handle their teeth marks without failing. Great value for what you get.
